The 11th december 2009 saw the first public RJC1000 session ever at eyebeam during the RjDj New York reactive music experience.

RCJ1000 is the working title for a software developed at RjDj, that will ease the creation of reactive music and also has some more special features concerning the networking of RjDj scenes.

On entering the space visitors heard gregorian chants playing on speakers. When they used headphones and their mobile devices running a special RjDj scene, they were sent in warp-speed a thousand years into the future. The gregorian chants were recorded and manipulated in realtime on their devices while more musical elements are added to the chants. The RjDj scenes (Pd patches) are networked and can be controllled from an RJ (Reality Jockey). Check out the recordings: Recording 1 Recording_2
